Adam_MilesYou may have seen posts on our Facebook page from the Yorkshire Yaks and wondered about the association with Pseudomyxoma Survivor.

Adam is quite simply one of the most amazing people we know – you might have seen his story in the newspapers or on tv recently.

Along with his wife, Laura, he will be taking part in the Mongol Rally described as “the greatest motoring adventure on the planet”.

They’ve just left Leyburn in Yorkshire, along with another car driven by two other members of the team. Look closely at photos of the car and you might just spot a familiar logo on the bonnet. It’s also hard to find a picture of Adam without a certain yellow wristband too.

We’ll be keeping up with the Yorkshire Yaks adventures – and hopefully finding out about any patients they meet along the way. If you think you might be on the route, please message us and we can put you in touch with the Yaks.

You can read Adam’s story here, find out why he’s #madeinyorkshirerebuiltinoxford and be as amazed as we are!
