In memory of Kelly
In case you missed it...
Just when your life is going well, things are sent to mix it all up
Ruth was ignored by her GP until she asked to be referred to a gynaecologist.
My Olympic Victory
Four years ago, I had to give up my ticket to watch the London Olympics to go to a hospital appointment and be told I had PMP and had only ‘a few months’ if Basingstoke could not offer me CRS and HIPEC. Now I’m in Rio!
I was convinced I had gallstones but it wasn’t gallstones
After an elderly relative was admitted to hospital with gallstones and, after researching her symptoms online, I was convinced I had the same problem. I pestered my GP to refer me for an ultrasound which eventually showed I had no gallstones, but “a fair amount” of fluid around my liver.
My beautiful daughter Kelly passed away on the 18th December 2021 after fighting for so long with this evil cancer she made the most of the time she had left going places doing things she wonted to do when she was able to she was so brave and never complained and like she said life is precious so live for the day
Lorraine, please accept my condolences on your loss. No parent ever expects to lose a child no matter what their age. Your words are a beautiful tribute to her.
